A LAUGHTER OPEN

The moment is breathtaking. Baptiste Lecaplain is on stage. He will soon complete his show when two people go quickly. It's amazing, normally this does not happen. The actor thinks, "I'm not funny." One of starters back and launches, loudly, "There are attacks in Paris." Seconds floating. The showman asks the audience, "Well, what do we do?" "We continue!" Shouts the room. "I'm sorry, if something happens, I am not responsible." "That's okay, we had a blast will" loose someone. "I am so happy to die with you," answered the comedian. He shows us the record a few weeks later, on his computer at his home in Vincennes, opposite the castle. Baptiste Lecaplain played thirty times at the Bataclan, a stage manager knew who was killed and wanted to send a note to his father but did not dare. "I'm terrible grief." He climbed back on stage from Tuesday. The influx has not fallen too, the young man has inserted one or two jokes Daech and Jawad, that laugh, that's important too. At 30, he played in Paris Origins, his second show, before a tour throughout France in 2016. In this intimate one-person show, he recounts his childhood, his troubles, his parents, hazing, interspersed with hilarious imitations of animals, a cobra, cat, crab. The topics are a little more serious than usual, and sexual, but he had an intimate need to talk, refused to ask the question to disappoint eventually his audience, young and family. Politics is quickly drained of "Holland, poo" the subject does not interest him at all. He voted, time, green, now deposits a white ballot.
The artist is funny and endearing. A form of touching sincerity escapes between two facial expressions to make the audience laugh. Baptiste Lecaplain behaves like that with us at the start. He opens the door, made a joke about his dog, Denver, takes us into the living room, a café, a recovery valve, a veritable host representation. Half an hour is needed to decrease it a little care while continuing, of course, to distill right words. By listening again to the recording of our conversation, we laughed good heart several times. He is shy Baptiste Lecaplain. There is a need, almost sickly, to his interlocutor at ease, wants all goes well, even go for the nice service. "I have met too many comedians that I admired and who, in real life, were assholes. I almost cried sometimes. "
